About Us
BEP Advisors is built on the experience of its CEO and founder, Roberto Roca, who developed his expertise working with The Nature Conservancy, Conservation International, the World Bank, and the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington DC for over 15 years.
Our Vision
BEP Advisors' mission focuses on the principles of environmental and social sustainability. We aim to provide our clients with solid, high-level advice on both small and large infrastructure projects.
History
The consultancy began its activities in 2006 in San José, Costa Rica. The company was initially created with the goal of providing sustainable solutions to complex infrastructure projects, leveraging the expertise of several high-level consultants in the fields of biodiversity assessment and environmental evaluation. In 2014, the firm moved to Panama and changed its business structure while adding new services. The new company operates as Best Environmental Practice – BEP Advisors.
BEP Advisors aims to offer the most modern tools and consulting services to help clients improve the integration of IFC Performance Standards and the Equator Principles into sustainable development projects. BEP Advisors also seeks to build institutional capacity and provide training, offering clients and project teams a solid foundation for more effective project management.
